What inspired me to name this wallpaper 'Aether' was the Greek deity known as Aether. He is the god of the air and the upper sky, and what could be higher than the clouds and atmosphere? Space. Therefore, I have made the color theme blue because it reminds me of the sky. And the subtitle, Veni Sancte Spiritus, means "Come, Holy Spirit".

The title was inspired by a Yousei Teikoku's song, Fortuna. And the subtitle, Vive Memor Mortis, is a line in the lyrics which roughly means, "Live mindful of death; the hour is fleeing." The sun and moon are represented here in fluffy and semi-translucent rainbow clouds, the moon always at a distance from the sun.

The header, Valkyrja, is based off of the Norse spelling for valkyrie. Though the wallpaper has nothing to do with valkyries, the three planets are 'valkyries' and the sun/star object in the distance is 'Valhalla'.
